BRITTANY ENGEL (15 Regional)![]() Brittany Engel began her volleyball career at a very young age in her home state of Nebraska. After moving to Oklahoma, she attended Edmond North High School where she also played volleyball. She played club volleyball throughout her high school career and was a part of the first Oklahoma Elite team, coached by Edgar Miraku, who won 2 national qualifiers and 7 out of 9 tournaments overall. Upon graduation, Brittany moved on to Seminole State College where she was a member of the team that qualified for the national tournament and finished 9th overall. Brittany has had the opportunity to coach several club and high school teams. She coached 14's, 15's, and 17's in club ball. In 2007, she took her first head coaching position at Noble High School before accepting the head coaching position two years later at Deer Creek High School. Currently, Brittany is a student at the University of Central Oklahoma where she is finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She plans to attend graduate school and hopes to have a career in the medical or scientific fields. |
