GINGER GOWEN (12 Metro, 15 Smack Assistant)
     
Ginger Gowen played high school volleyball under Santa Fe High School coach Will Ethridge. During her time at Santa Fe, she played setter, defensive specialist, and libero. As a senior, Ginger finished in the top 25 nationally in digs. She also earned a letter in track for the Wolves.

She is currently a sophomore defensive specialist/libero at the University of Central Oklahoma where she is majoring in math. As a freshman, she played in 125 games while starting 24 of 24 matches and came into her own late in the season averaging 17 digs a match.

In 2008-2009, Ginger was an assistant coach for the Peak 15-1's working with head coach Jeff Boyland.

After graduation, she will attend Oklahoma State University to obtain a master's degree in electrical engineering.
