Jamie Aweau played high school volleyball for Santa Fe High School in Edmond where she won three state championships. She went on to play for the University of Central Oklahoma as an outside hitter and defensive specialist while she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She began giving private volleyball lessons in 1998 and she coached club volleyball in Philadelphia for 5 years before moving back to Oklahoma. Jamie is currently in her first season as head coach at Choctaw High School. She is married to Kimo Aweau.
