Kena (Harris) Thompson graduated Edmond Memorial High School where she started four years for the Bulldogs as an outside hitter.
She attended the University of Central Oklahoma where she played volleyball for 3 years. After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she taught Kindergarten for three years at Crooked Oak Elementary.
Kena's coaching experiences include coaching 16-2's and a 13 Metro team for Peak as well as being an assistant on Greg Dewey's 18's team in 2007-2008. Kena and her husband, Jeff, recently welcomed their first child, son Boone Henry, to their family and are enjoying their role as new parents.
